About 50+CDS
50+ Contemporary Dance Sheffield (50+CDS) is an independent community dance group for people aged 50 and over in Sheffield.
We are based at the University Drama Studio in Sheffield on Shearwood Road in Broomhall, Sheffield.
Founded in January 2019 and led by Artistic Director Lucy Haighton, we provide regular contemporary dance and creative engagement opportunities through classes and performances. We offer weekly dance classes (in person and on Zoom), creative workshops and our performance company Third Bite Dance.
In July 2019 50+CDS became an unincorporated association. We have a voluntary committee who help run the company alongside Artistic Director Lucy Haighton.
