Refund Policy

If a class or workshop is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund. Or if you prefer you can transfer to another class / workshop of equivalent value if there are spaces available. We have alternative teachers and backup technology, so this is very unlikely, but we’re letting you know how we would handle it, just in case!  

We appreciate that life happens, and you might make a booking and then find you are no longer able to attend.....

BLOCK BOOKED CLASSES

  • We ask everyone to make their best effort to attend all the classes in a block, as we build dance routines and choreography during the block

  • Please note that we are not able to provide refunds where individuals are unable to attend individual classes

  • If you become unable to attend the rest of a block, you can request a refund for the proportionate cost of the booking for the number of classes remaining in the block at 1 week or more notice

WORKSHOPS

  • We will offer a full refund when you cancel one week or more before the beginning of a workshop

  • Alternatively, if there is another 50+CDS workshop of the same or lower value that you would like to attend, you can transfer your booking to that workshop at no additional cost, provided there are places available on it

  • Alternatively, if you would like to transfer your booking to a friend, we must be notified via email at least one week ahead that your friend will attend in your place, and your friend must email us the completed booking information form, as this contains important health & safety information

HOW TO NOTIFY US AND ASK FOR A REFUND

  • Please email 50cdsheffield@gmail.com  to let us know that you are unable to attend and your preferred approach e.g. requesting a refund, transfer to an alternative class or workshop, transfer the booking to a friend. 

  • If you are requesting a refund please also send us the following details for your bank account, so that we can make a BACS payment to you:

    • Sort code

    • Account number

    • The name on the bank account

    • Roll number if is a building society account that uses this

We can make BACS payments within one week. 

  • If you are unable to accept BACS payments, we can refund you by cheque instead. For a refund by cheque, please provide your postal address and the name that you would like the cheque made out to. We will have the cheque sent to you within 2 weeks of the booked class or classes that you have cancelled
